I'm a PostDoc student at National Technical University of Athens. My research interests contain but are not limited to: query reformulation, data integration, data exchange, data dependencies, XML, modal-temporal logics.

Short Bio

I received my BSc. in Mathematics, major in Statistics and Operational Research from University of Patras Greece (1994-1998). I got an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree from Athens Laboratory of Business Administration (ALBA) (1998-1999). Following that, I worked in industry for two years with L'Oreal Hellas S.A. in the department of business analysis and development (1999-2001). I received my PhD in computer science from National Technical University of Athens (2006), under the supervision of Prof. Foto Afrati.

Teaching Experience:

• In 2006 I was an adjunct lecturer at the Ionian University teaching the courses:                    

-       Informatics II        

-       Electronic writing and multimedia                                                                               

• I was a TA at National Technical University of Athens teaching the courses:                         

-       discrete mathematics (undergraduate course) for four years  

-       data mining (graduate course) for two years and 

-       advanced database theory (graduate course) for one year.
